Barbara Ruano is the CEO and Founder of PlanetWoot Entertainment ["PlanetWoot" in the early 2000's]. She is an international award winning marketing and advertising executive with over 30 years of General and Hispanic Market business development, strategic, creative & production expertise, having worked for some of the world's most renowned agencies [WPP, GREY] and their subsidiaries. She's worked with local, national and international brands & Fortune 500 companies such as: DIRECTV (local & international channels), Antena 3 (top TV network in Spain), The American Cancer Society, Ford Motor Company, McNeil Consumer Products, Wells Fargo Bank (US, Mexico), Sears, Verizon, Valvoline (US, Puerto Rico), M&M/Mars, Kraft, and many others in a variety of industries.
l After a recent sabbatical to enjoy her work as an Industrial Artist in the Charlotte, North Carolina area [although she remains bi-coastal], she reopened the PlanetWoot doors as: PlanetWoot Entertainment [PWE]. Under the new umbrella of “Entertainment,” PWE’s focus has been on developing a proprietary and patent pending Entertainment Technology platform invented by Ms. Ruano, that will target millennials worldwide. Hence, creating a brand new cross-channel entertainment communication platform linking new programming to millennials everywhere. These ideas will truly change the Entertainment world as we know it, Converging Brands with [[LIVE Entertainment Strategies and Audiences]] Worldwide. She is currently working on finalizing the launch of this new platform. Stay tuned! l In addition to her agency executive roles, founding her advertising and marketing firm PlanetWoot, and now, entertainment company, as an entrepreneur she's also served in principal roles with several tech start ups. She understands branding, she understands business, and she understands the changing consumer market, bringing additional insight, perspective and solutions to any project. As a seasoned professional with over 15 years of Cinema advertising expertise at one of the world's leading advertising and entertainment companies, National CineMedia, Grizelle Sanchez has become a well known sales and business development professional in the industry. Her strong networking and relationship building capabilities have extended beyond the Cinema sales arena where she established lasting client and agency bonds with local, regional and nationally known brands. This powerful background as a unifier of companies and opportunities, has allowed her to bring together talented professionals from a broad range of industries through project collaboration, and entrepreneurship visions. Ms. Sanchez has been a key player in driving new business efforts through the engagement of interested individuals in numerous creative business endeavors related to the enhancement of Film production [Studio Charlotte, Studio South], and Television shows [Motorsports / Tradin’ Paint / Project Raceway] among others. While assisting these independent start ups and their respective CEO's, she was instrumental in their positioning and by opening doors at levels that went beyond private companies. Ms. Sanchez connected with city officials, investors and others within her extensive network to get things off the ground, setting the foundation in a sense, from which they could continue to build from.
